Emergency First Response

Emergency First Response gives you the skills you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response helps you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations.

This comprehensive program contains three core modules that can be taught as individual, or as stand-alone courses:

1. Emergency First Response Primary Care:

This program teaches you to render care for life threatening problems like heart stoppage, non breathing person and serious bleeding. It also covers skills like choking adult, shock management, AED use and spinal injury management.

2. Emergency First Response Secondary Care:

This program teaches you to render care to common first aid problems that are not immediately life threatening, and or if EMS is not readily available or far away. It covers skills like Injury assessment, illness assessment, bandaging and splinting for dislocated and fractures. A prerequisite is however needed for this course. Any CPR certification with a recognized body is accepted.

3. Emergency First Response Care for Children:

CFC is EFR’s latest addition to their well structured and informative courses. CFC teaches you to render care to children or infants experiencing medical problems, whether life threatening or not. Skills in this program includes conscious choking child/infant, rescue breathing child/infant, one rescuer child/infant CPR, serious bleeding management, shock management and many more! Without a doubt a must for anyone with a little one around the house or work place.
